About Us ...

In April, 8 students from OCHS will accompany French teacher Mrs. Susan Bartlett to Paris, France for a week. There, they will
- live in a French apartment across the street from the Louvre Museum.
- explore a country and a city steeped in history.
- visit the Normandy Beaches, home to countless World War II soldiers' graves as they pay tribute to the men and women who fought for what they believed.
- encounter the daunting and magnificent chateaux in the infamous Loire Valley.
- get to know Paris - feeding the pigeons outside of Notre Dame Cathedral, going to mass at Saint Sulpice, studying the kings and queens entombed at Saint Denis.
- walk where Napoleon walked.
- cruise the Seine, contemplate "The Thinker" in Rodin's garden, eat ice cream in the oldest part of the city, stand at the top of the Eiffel Tower.

For one week, they will live like a French person, eat like a French person, and come to love Paris like a French person. For what more could one ask? From here on, these are the wanderings of the students ... their thoughts, their photos, their adventures ... of Paris, of France.
